It is within easy driving distance of the spectacular coast, Exmoor and many other local attractions, including National Trust properties, gardens at RHS Rosemoor, Castle Hill, Marwood and Tapeley Park. We have three ensuite bedrooms, two doubles on the first floor one with views to Hartland Point in the distance (Wooster)and the other (Jeeves) looks over the garden and surrounding countryside. Anatole is a double bedroom on the ground floor and would be suitable for guests who have difficulty in climbing stairs and the doors have been widened to accommodate wheelchairs users. The historic towns of Barnstaple and South Molton are 8 miles to the south and west and Exmoor National Park is 3 miles to the east. The stunning coast line of North Devon with its cliff paths and sandy beaches are a short drive away. Nearby villages include Goodleigh, Brayford, Stoke Rivers, Shirwell, East and West Buckland as well as the towns of Barnstaple, Woolacombe, Ilfracombe and South Molton. We have two double rooms (Jeeves on the first floor and Anatole on the ground floor) and a twin room (Wooster on the first floor) available for bed and breakfast. We have named the rooms after characters in P G Wodehouse's novels as his uncle was Rector here from 1875 to 1913 and it is known that he stayed in this house.
